Creative Learning on Friday #18

Welcome back to another week of Creative Learning.  Last week it was my pleasure to see some of our bloggers from the spring sharing their ideas.

Here are a few highlights:

Joey shared a cute idea that I am going to use with my boys to help them see that patterns can be art.

Also, Trillium Montessori shared a blog roundup of autumn printables that will get some good use with our youngest.  The Children's Legacy Library provided an inspiring list of living books that will get my family ready for holiday reading by the cozy fireplace.

Creative Learning on Friday returns!

Well, here I am with my new mantra: Keep Calm and Blog On.

Good things are happening here in central PA.  The National Parks are open, so I am back to work.  We are having a blast homeschooling my two sons with exciting field trips in the near future. We are full-on in the change of seasons, the cool crisp days reviving our foggy summer minds. And, Creative Learning on Friday is back.

Creative Learning on Friday Link Party is set to return

After a summer of fun and loosening of the daily flow, we are back to a rhythm that includes lessons with specific goals in mind.  And with that, I am going to resume our weekly Creative Learning on Friday linky party.

Last academic year, we had many wonderful bloggers link up and I look forward to seeing more creative learning ideas.  So feel free to go deep in your archives or add your latest post and be ready to be inspired.

The linky party will begin again this Friday morning with an all new badge:

I Am a Park Ranger

I've been away from the blog for some time now. When I am stressed, I retreat into myself and with compounded stressors in my life, my blogging fell by the wayside.  I am determined to "keep calm and blog on" but until I get back into the swing of things, I want to share a bit of what is going on in my world.

Many of you know that I am a National Park Ranger. So often in my career people have said how wonderful it must be to be a park ranger and I heartily agree with them. Right now we need your support and encouragement. This video says so much about the position park rangers are in right now.

When the parks reopen, please take time to tell a ranger how much you value their service.
